Toyota’s published partial-payment guide lists PKR 2.5m for Corolla 1.6 and 1.8 when delivery lead time exceeds 30 days. Confirm its current application with your dealer. Keep the customer copy of the PBO, the partial-payment undertaking and an itemised balance calculation; do not assume a deposit fixes every future charge.

The deposit is one stage of the purchase

Toyota’s official buyer guide lists PKR 2,500,000 for both Corolla engine families under its partial-payment process where delivery lead time exceeds 30 days. It instructs customers to retain the Provisional Booking Order and a copy of the partial-payment undertaking. The guide itself says its information can change. [1]

Treat this as a process reference checked on 15 October 2026, not permission to transfer money or a promise that every dealer has stock. Verify the dealer through Toyota’s official directory and obtain the current order documents. An advertised reservation amount and a completed manufacturer booking are not interchangeable.

Check five fields before signing the PBO

Read the variant, transmission, interior colour, buyer details and expected delivery information together. A generic model name can leave room for disagreement when a facelift or a new interior choice appears. Ask the dealer to record the exact specification you intend to buy.

Then inspect the price-change, cancellation and refund clauses. This article does not assert a fixed refund period or a universal right to retain an earlier price: those terms have to come from the applicable agreement. Keep a dated copy of every amendment and receipt so there is a clear record if the allocation changes.

Build the balance calculation yourself

Toyota’s guide describes the balance as the difference between the ordered vehicle’s retail price including freight and the partial payment, with applicable withholding tax also addressed at payment. It asks customers to confirm the balance-payment deadline and retain the balance-payment form. [1]

For illustration only, a signed vehicle-and-freight quotation of PKR 6,750,000 less a PKR 2,500,000 deposit leaves PKR 4,250,000 before additional applicable charges. These are example inputs, not a Corolla price quote. Add the actual tax, registration, insurance and agreed accessories separately. Do not count the deposit twice when calculating the total purchase cost.

If financing is involved, reconcile the bank’s disbursement with your deposit and the dealer’s receipt. A monthly instalment illustration does not establish loan approval, insurance cover or that the vehicle can be delivered on the promised day. Obtain the lender’s written schedule before committing to a balance you cannot fund.

Pay through the documented channel

Toyota’s guide describes a pay order or demand draft in favour of Indus Motor Company Ltd, on account of the customer, and specifies a maximum document age of 14 days. Confirm current instructions directly through an authorised channel before arranging payment. [1]

Do not treat a forwarded message or a changed beneficiary name as sufficient verification. Compare the beneficiary, customer name, amount and order reference against the signed documents. Keep payment evidence and obtain an acknowledgement that identifies what the money was applied to. Avoid publishing identity or banking documents when asking for help online.

An offer deadline needs an invoice check

A campaign may depend on an invoice date, a particular grade, stock or a balance-payment condition. Ask which event determines eligibility and what happens if delivery slips. Do not infer price protection merely because a deposit was paid before the advertised deadline.

For the newly documented Corolla facelift, confirm whether your allocation is the older or newer specification and whether changing it affects the price or queue. The same questions matter even when the advertised amounts appear unchanged: equipment and interior availability can still differ.

At delivery, reconcile the car and the paperwork

Check the chassis details against the invoice, the chosen variant and colour, the supplied keys and manuals, the warranty start information and the agreed accessories. Walk around the vehicle in good light and ask the dealer to demonstrate the features specified on your order.

Keep a written record of unresolved items before accepting a proposed remedy. This is a practical purchase checklist, not a substitute for the signed contract. If the documents and the vehicle disagree, seek a clear written explanation before treating the transaction as complete.
