Use PKR 59,946 a month as a neutral 1,500 km/10 km/l planning case—not as a promised Revo result. Replace both distance and measured full-tank economy with your own figures, then add servicing, tyres, insurance and finance before deciding whether the pickup fits the budget.

The current diesel rate changes the ownership decision

The Petroleum Division lists a fresh petroleum-price notification dated 2 October 2026. The notified high-speed diesel rate effective from 3 to 5 October is PKR 399.64 per litre, while petrol is PKR 392.76 per litre. Because fuel pricing is currently changing frequently, this article fixes every calculation to that dated HSD rate rather than presenting it as a permanent price. [1,2]

Toyota identifies Revo as a 2,755 cc common-rail diesel pickup. Its official page lists the high-output 1GD-FTV engine at 150 kW and 500 Nm for Rocco, with a six-speed sequential transmission and part-time four-wheel drive. These manufacturer specifications establish what the vehicle is; they do not establish the fuel economy your route will produce. [3]

Toyota Revo monthly fuel cost: three distances and three efficiencies

The calculation is monthly kilometres divided by assumed km/l, multiplied by PKR 399.64. Toyota does not publish a single Pakistan-road consumption promise on the Revo page that can be applied to every grade, load and route, so 8, 10 and 12 km/l below are planning scenarios—not tested CarRates results or Toyota claims.

At 1,500 km a month, the middle 10 km/l case consumes 150 litres and costs PKR 59,946. A buyer achieving only 8 km/l would spend about PKR 14,987 more each month; one measuring 12 km/l would spend about PKR 9,991 less. That spread is large enough to justify measuring your own use before purchase.

Load, tyres and route can move the number

A pickup used empty in steady traffic is not a fair proxy for one carrying tools, passengers or cargo on broken roads. Idling, short trips, air conditioning, tyre pressure, wheel and tyre choice, four-wheel-drive use, speed and maintenance condition can all change fuel consumed. Do not copy a social-media dashboard reading into a five-year budget.

Record at least three comparable full-tank cycles. Reset the trip reading after filling, note litres at the next full fill and divide kilometres by litres. Keep route, load and unusual idling notes. If the vehicle is used for work, separate business kilometres from private use so the cost can be assigned honestly.

Fuel is only one Revo ownership cost

The Revo catalogue currently runs from G MT and G AT through V AT, Rocco and GR-S. Purchase price, registration treatment, insurance, finance, tyres and scheduled maintenance differ far more than this fuel table can show. Ask for an itemised on-road quotation for the exact grade and compare it with the existing Revo variant guide. [3]

For annual planning, the neutral 1,500 km/10 km/l case becomes PKR 719,352 in diesel if the same fuel price and usage held for twelve months. That is a sensitivity figure, not a forecast: the government rate can change, mileage varies and repairs do not arrive evenly. Keep a separate maintenance and tyre reserve, then use the CarRates ownership tool with your actual quotation and measured economy.

The decision test before booking

Choose a Revo because its payload, ground clearance, drivetrain and ownership network fit work or travel you genuinely do—not because the monthly fuel bill was omitted from the purchase discussion. Compare the same-distance diesel budget with suitable alternatives, but do not mix a loaded work-pickup scenario with an empty urban SUV scenario.

Before signing, confirm the exact grade, delivered specification, warranty, delivery date and every payable charge. Then run the fuel calculation again with a pessimistic efficiency case. If the complete monthly budget remains comfortable there, the purchase decision is more resilient than one built around a best-case reading.
