The official data lists 1.6 CVT-i at PKR 6,699,000, 1.6 Special Edition at PKR 7,339,000, 1.8 CVT-i at PKR 7,029,000 and two Grande interior choices. Toyota describes these as suggested retail prices ex-factory Karachi, with withholding tax excluded. [1]
This correction materially changes the shortlist: the 1.8 CVT-i costs PKR 310,000 less than the 1.6 Special Edition. Compare equipment, tax and delivery status on the dated quotation rather than assuming engine size alone determines the price.

The 1.8 decision is about more than displacement
Toyota states that the Grande's 1.8-litre Dual VVT-i engine produces 138 hp and 173 Nm. Its model page also highlights seven-step simulated CVT control, Sport mode, paddle operation and cruise control. [1]
Those figures do not automatically make Grande the better urban car. Test response with passengers and air-conditioning, then compare fuel use, annual token/tax treatment, insurance and resale in your city. Engine size is only one part of the ownership decision.
Safety should be checked grade by grade
Toyota's Corolla X page highlights dual SRS airbags, vehicle stability control, traction control, ABS with EBD and brake assist, ISOFIX and its reinforced GOA body. Confirm which items apply to the exact grade and production month on the quotation. [1]

Which Corolla earns its place?
