Do not mix HEV and PHEV listings
GWM Pakistan distinguishes H6 HEV from H6 PHEV in its official model range. Hyundai identifies Tucson Smart as FWD and Signature as AWD, both with a 1.6-litre turbo hybrid and six-speed automatic. [1,2]
An H6 PHEV price or electric-range claim is not evidence about the H6 HEV. Ask the dealer to identify the exact drivetrain, model year and supplied specification. A comparison assembled from a petrol H6 price, an HEV feature list and a PHEV range claim does not describe a car you can order.
What can be established about price
Hyundai’s linked August 2026 sheet, rechecked on 24 September, lists discounted Tucson Smart at Rs 12,202,000 and Signature at Rs 13,300,000. The corresponding undiscounted amounts are Rs 12,926,000 and Rs 14,101,000. The document says invoice-time prices are final and freight/insurance are separate; confirm that a discount remains available. [2]
GWM’s model information and price-calculator data returned different H6 HEV reference amounts during this review, so a single current payable amount could not be established. Obtain a written quote that separates the vehicle price, levies and freight; do not compare a tax-inclusive calculator amount against another brand’s ex-factory figure.

Make the test drive repeatable
Drive both on a similar route with the same passengers. Check the transition from crawling to acceleration, braking at parking speed, mirror visibility, seat comfort and rear-seat cooling. Bring a child seat and the bags you use regularly. Score each item before discussing colours or accessories.
Demonstrate the specific safety and parking aids fitted to the quoted grade. A feature name is not proof that it behaves identically between cars. Ask how warnings are adjusted and what the system cannot detect; do not attempt an unsafe demonstration of collision avoidance on a public road.
Use ownership evidence to break a close result
Get the vehicle and hybrid-component warranty documents, service intervals, insurance quotes and replacement-tyre prices. Ask your nearest authorised workshop about booking lead times and the process for a car awaiting parts. These are local questions; a national dealer count does not tell you how convenient your own branch is.
Do not promise that fuel savings recover the purchase premium without route-matched measurements. If one quote is higher, list the benefits you will use weekly and assign the money accordingly. For a paved-road household, additional comfort or easier parking may matter more than driven-wheel count. For a demanding route, confirm the exact drivetrain and tyre suitability before treating AWD as a solution.
