Smart FWD already carries the major comfort, camera and driver-assistance equipment, making it the value choice for ordinary road use. Signature earns its PKR 1.098m premium when AWD, terrain modes, HUD and its additional equipment solve a real need—not simply because it is the top grade.
Corrected Tucson Hybrid prices: checked 4 September 2026
Hyundai Nishat's price sheet dated August 2026 lists Smart FWD at a discounted PKR 12,202,000 against PKR 12,926,000, and Signature AWD at a discounted PKR 13,300,000 against PKR 14,101,000. The discounted gap is PKR 1,098,000. [1]
Hyundai states that these prices are provisional, the invoice-time price is final, and freight and insurance are charged separately. CarRates has corrected its earlier PKR 12.240m Signature figure; it did not match the manufacturer's current document.

Smart is not a stripped entry grade
The official sheet gives Smart the 1.6-litre turbo-hybrid powertrain, six-speed automatic, 18-inch wheels, heated and ventilated front seats, panoramic displays, wireless phone integration and charging, panoramic roof, surround-view camera and more than 20 Level-2 driver-assistance features. [1]
That shared equipment changes the decision. Buyers do not need Signature merely to obtain the main cabin technology or camera and assistance package. Confirm the delivered production month because feature descriptions and software availability can change.
What the Signature premium actually adds
Signature changes from front-wheel drive to all-wheel drive and adds Snow, Mud and Sand terrain modes. The same official sheet lists 19-inch wheels, a 12-inch head-up display, heated steering wheel, fingerprint authentication, powered passenger seat, upgraded headlamp specification and a powered smart tailgate among its distinguishing equipment. AWD can improve traction, but it does not create extra ground clearance or overcome unsuitable tyres. Larger wheels can also alter ride comfort and replacement cost. Test both grades on the roads you use and price one complete tyre set before deciding.
Who should choose each Tucson?
Choose Smart when most driving is on paved urban and motorway routes and its already extensive equipment meets the brief. Consider Signature for regular loose-surface, steep or poor-weather use, or when its HUD and additional factory equipment are individually valuable to you.
Obtain a dated quotation showing the discount, expiry, freight, insurance, withholding tax and registration. Also confirm hybrid-battery warranty terms and whether the final invoice will use the displayed promotional or standard ex-factory amount.
