City 1.2LS is the lowest-priced CVT sedan here and offers the largest stated boot. Yaris GLI CVT costs PKR 72,000 more and should be compared back-to-back before paying extra; ATIV CVT adds equipment but jumps by PKR 910,000. Alsvin Lumiere is the value choice for a 1.5-litre engine and DCT, but buyers should test low-speed gearbox behaviour and verify after-sales terms. Decide from same-day on-road quotations, not sticker price alone.

Five automatic sedan choices below PKR 6 million

Official manufacturer pages checked on 9 October 2026 place Honda City 1.2LS at PKR 4,737,000, Toyota Yaris 1.3 GLI CVT at PKR 4,809,000, Changan Alsvin Lumiere at PKR 4,899,000, Alsvin Black Edition at PKR 4,999,000 and Yaris 1.3 ATIV CVT at PKR 5,719,000. [1,2,3]

These are vehicle prices or suggested ex-factory prices, not universal on-road totals. Registration, withholding tax, insurance, freight and accessories can change the payable amount by city and buyer status.

Manufacturer-listed prices checked 9 October 2026; buyer-specific charges remain separate.

City and Yaris use CVTs; Alsvin uses a DCT

Honda identifies a continuously variable transmission for City 1.2LS. Toyota lists a seven-speed CVT for the Yaris 1.3 automatic grades, while Changan specifies a five-speed dual-clutch transmission with Tiptronic for the 1.5-litre Alsvin. [1,2,4]

Transmission type changes low-speed feel and response. Drive each car from rest, in crawling traffic, on an incline and while parking. A brochure cannot determine which calibration feels most natural to a particular driver.

Engine and space priorities separate the shortlist

City uses a 1,199 cc engine rated by Honda at 88 hp and 110 Nm, while Toyota lists 1,329 cc, 97.8 hp and 123 Nm for the Yaris 1.3. Changan lists 1,480 cc, 105 hp and 145 Nm for the Alsvin automatic. These are manufacturer outputs—not measured acceleration or fuel-economy results. [1,2,4]

Honda states a 510-litre boot and 2,600 mm wheelbase for City; Toyota lists 476 litres and 2,550 mm for Yaris. Alsvin's official specification lists a 2,535 mm wheelbase. Bring regular passengers and luggage to the showroom because dimensions do not reveal seat comfort, visibility or usable storage shape.

Do not assume the dearest grade is the safest

Honda lists dual airbags, ABS and ISOFIX for City 1.2LS. Toyota's current Yaris specification includes ABS and variant-specific equipment, while Changan lists dual airbags, ABS, three-point belts and ISOFIX for Alsvin. Confirm the exact grade and model year because equipment can differ within a nameplate. [1,2,4]

Manufacturer equipment lists are not crash-test results. Tyre condition, correct child-seat use, maintenance and safe driving remain essential, and driver-assistance features should never be described as autonomous driving.

The most sensible buying order

Start with City 1.2LS and Yaris GLI CVT because only PKR 72,000 separates their listed prices. Compare seating, boot access, visibility, ride, braking, tyre price and service convenience on the same day. Add Alsvin Lumiere when the larger engine, equipment and DCT appeal; Black Edition is primarily a styling step and should earn its extra PKR 100,000 through features you value.

Yaris ATIV CVT is PKR 910,000 above GLI CVT. Identify every feature gained before paying that step, and compare it with cars outside the under-PKR-6m ceiling once on-road charges are included.

Obtain written, same-day quotations naming the exact variant, colour, model year, delivery month, freight, filer or non-filer tax, registration, insurance, accessories and refund terms. The best car rate is the complete payable deal that still suits the family—not the smallest number in an advertisement.
