AGS convenience comes with a different driving feel
AGS automates clutch operation and gear selection, but it is not the same mechanism or sensation as a conventional torque-converter automatic or CVT. During a test drive, assess the pause between shifts, hill starts, reversing into a slope and low-speed parking with the air-conditioner running.
A driver can often make AGS smoother by easing the accelerator slightly as it changes gear. The relevant question is not whether it feels identical to another automatic; it is whether every likely driver in the household is comfortable with its behaviour.
Do not overpay without checking the grade sheet
VXL-AGS should be judged through the exact current Pakistan equipment list. Confirm airbags, ABS, power features, infotainment, mirrors, wheel treatment and any convenience equipment on the production month being delivered. Do not rely on an older online review or imported-market specification.
Price the items you would otherwise add to VXR-AGS, but avoid treating aftermarket accessories as equal to factory-integrated safety or electrical equipment. Warranty consequences and installation quality matter.
