Turbo X is the value choice because it keeps the same powertrain, six-airbag safety package, front and rear parking sensors, reversing camera and core infotainment. Turbo S earns its PKR 400,000 premium mainly through LED lighting, smart entry, sunroof, larger wheels, a richer cabin and 18 mm more listed ground clearance. Confirm the launch price on a signed booking order because Kia's online price-list page was still displaying TBD when checked on 2 October.
Kia Stonic price in Pakistan: two announced launch figures
Lucky Motor Corporation opened bookings for the all-new Stonic on 1 October 2026. Contemporary launch reporting lists Turbo X at PKR 5,499,000 and Turbo S at PKR 5,899,000, a PKR 400,000 difference. Kia's own booking page confirms both grade names, while its official online price list still showed TBD when checked on 2 October. For that reason CarRates records these as announced launch prices rather than silently describing the lagging web table as a current final quotation. [1–3]
Kia states that ex-factory prices exclude withholding tax, freight and insurance. Registration and other buyer-specific charges are also separate. Ask an authorised dealer for a system-generated provisional booking order naming the grade, price, delivery month and every payable item before transferring money. [2]
| Variant | Announced price | Difference |
|---|---|---|
| Turbo X | PKR 5,499,000 | — |
| Turbo S | PKR 5,899,000 | PKR 400,000 |
Both variants share the important mechanical package
Kia's Pakistan specification page lists the same 998 cc turbocharged direct-injection petrol engine for Turbo X and Turbo S, producing 100 PS at 6,000 rpm and 172 Nm from 1,500–3,500 rpm. Both use front-wheel drive and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, with Eco, Normal and Sport modes. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent performance or fuel-economy results. [1]
Both also receive six airbags, ABS, electronic stability control, hill-start assist, multi-collision braking and ISOFIX anchors. The shared equipment includes front and rear parking sensors, a reversing camera, electric parking brake with auto hold, cruise control, an 8-inch display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and six speakers. The higher grade is therefore not required to obtain the core listed safety package. [1]
What Turbo S adds for PKR 400,000
Turbo S changes the lighting and convenience package: Kia lists LED multi-reflector headlamps, LED front fog lamps, dynamic welcome lighting, smart key with push-button start, a power tilt-and-slide sunroof, an electro-chromic mirror and a low washer-fluid warning. It also uses 17-inch wheels with 205/55 R17 tyres, instead of Turbo X's 16-inch wheels with 195/55 R16 tyres. [1]
Inside, Turbo S receives a two-tone black and medium-grey cabin, cloth/artificial-leather seats, an artificial-leather steering wheel and gear selector, a height-adjustable passenger seat, metal pedals and a luggage net. These are tangible differences, but none changes engine output, transmission or seating capacity. Test whether the larger wheels preserve acceptable ride comfort on your regular roads and price replacement tyres before deciding.
Ground clearance differs more than the body dimensions suggest
Both grades are 4,165 mm long, 1,760 mm wide and have a 2,580 mm wheelbase, 352-litre minimum luggage capacity and 45-litre fuel tank. Kia lists Turbo X at 1,500 mm high with 165 mm ground clearance; Turbo S is 1,520 mm high with roof rails and 183 mm ground clearance. [1]
Do not assume the higher figure automatically makes Turbo S an off-road vehicle. Both variants remain front-wheel drive. During a test drive, use the type of ramp, speed breaker and loaded passenger condition that creates problems in your own routine, without deliberately risking the demonstrator.
The buyer test that should decide between them
Drive both grades on the same route and pay attention to low-speed DCT response, hill starts, tyre noise, ride over broken surfaces and parking visibility. Check rear-seat space after setting the front seat for your normal driving position, then load the luggage you regularly carry. The official 352-litre figure is useful for comparison but cannot prove that your own bags will fit. [1]
Choose Turbo X when the common powertrain and safety equipment answer your needs and the PKR 400,000 saving improves the full ownership budget. Choose Turbo S when its lighting, smart key, sunroof, cabin trim, wheels and additional listed clearance solve needs you will use regularly. The current official imagery now shown by CarRates matches the all-new Stonic; colour and equipment should still be verified on the allocated Pakistan vehicle.
