The V27 is most convincing for a buyer who can charge at home, wants five-seat SUV space and still needs petrol-backed long-distance flexibility. Its output, battery and equipment are substantial for the price, but the published NEDC ranges and 5.9-second acceleration remain manufacturer claims. The purchase should depend on a written on-road quotation, charging-installation scope, warranty booklet and a test drive—not the 1,000 km headline alone.

iCAUR V27 price in Pakistan and the amount due beyond it

NexGen Auto's official Pakistan launch announcement prices the iCAUR V27 REEV AWD at PKR 12,499,000 ex-factory. The official price sheet says applicable taxes are included in that amount, then adds PKR 70,000 per vehicle for freight and transit insurance. It lists a PKR 2,500,000 booking advance, balance payment at least one month before delivery and first-come, first-served allocation. [1,2]

Registration, buyer-specific withholding tax, comprehensive insurance, accessories and any charging-site work can still lift the on-road total. The company also reserves the right to change price, specifications and colours. Ask for a dated system-generated order that names V27 REEV AWD, the full charge breakdown, promised delivery month and refund terms before transferring money.

REEV means electric drive with a petrol range extender

The Pakistan specification combines a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with dual electric motors and electric all-wheel drive. iCAUR lists 335 kW combined peak power—449 hp—and 505 Nm of combined peak torque. The engine's separate 100 kW and 220 Nm figures on the model page describe the range-extender engine, not total wheel-driving system output. [2,3]

This architecture can deliver an electric-driving character while the engine supports energy supply on longer journeys. It is not a pure battery EV, and it should not be described as fuel-free. Actual petrol use depends heavily on charging frequency, route, speed, climate control, payload and how often the battery is depleted.

The 150 km and 1,000 km ranges need their NEDC label

The official Pakistan sheet lists a 34.31 kWh battery, 150 km electric range and 1,000 km combined range, both on the NEDC laboratory cycle. It also lists a 60-litre fuel tank. These are manufacturer claims from a comparatively lenient test cycle; they are not promises for motorway speed, summer heat or a fully loaded vehicle. [2]

For ownership planning, map the regular return journey and ask whether it fits inside a conservative share of the electric claim with reserve. Buyers who can charge overnight may complete many short journeys before the engine is needed. Buyers without dependable charging lose much of the reason to carry a plug-in-sized battery.

Charging hardware is unusually well specified on paper

The sheet lists 7 kW AC charging, 100 kW DC capability, CCS2, a 3.3 kW portable charger, a 7 kW wall charger and 6.6 kW external discharge. It claims 20 to 80 percent DC charging in 15 minutes. Peak power and time are manufacturer figures under suitable charger, battery-temperature and state-of-charge conditions. [2]

Confirm which chargers and cables are included in the signed order and whether installation is included. A proper home survey must establish available load, protection, earthing, cable route and parking access. The wallbox itself does not guarantee that a home can continuously supply 7 kW without electrical work.

Size and weight make the test drive essential

The V27 measures 5,045 mm long, 1,976 mm wide and 1,894 mm high on a 2,900 mm wheelbase. iCAUR's model page lists 2,580 kg and a 5.9-second 0–100 km/h claim; the specification sheet adds 220 mm ground clearance and up to 1.6 tonnes of towing capacity. [2,3]

Those dimensions provide genuine road presence and cabin potential, but they also affect parking, turning space, tyre cost and braking feel. A 5.9-second claim does not prove manoeuvrability or ride quality. Test the camera system, blind spots, turning circle, brake modulation and suspension on roads representative of daily use.

Equipment is extensive; after-sales detail still decides risk

Pakistan equipment includes seven-airbag coverage by the listed airbag positions, a 540-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane and blind-spot assistance, rear cross-traffic functions, driver monitoring, automatic parking, 21-inch wheels, double-dome sunroof, 15.4-inch centre screen, wireless phone integration, 15 Pioneer speakers and ventilated front seats. [2]

Assistance systems have operating limits and do not make the car autonomous. Ask the dealer to demonstrate the exact vehicle and obtain the complete vehicle, battery and high-voltage-component warranty documents. The one-page price sheet does not state every warranty exclusion, service interval or battery-capacity condition, so those details should not be assumed from a headline alone.

The sensible V27 buyer has secure charging, needs long-distance flexibility and values the large five-seat format. A buyer who cannot charge or who mainly needs an easy urban car should compare lighter alternatives and use CarRates' ownership calculator with insurance, energy, maintenance and resale assumptions adjusted honestly.
