Where it sits
The Tank 500 occupies a different part of the market from compact crossovers. It is a large, premium SUV aimed at buyers comparing cabin space, road presence and electrified performance rather than the lowest purchase price.
That also means insurance, registration, tyres and long-term after-sales support matter more than a simple ex-factory comparison.
HEV or PHEV?
The hybrid grade is the simpler choice for drivers who cannot charge at home. The plug-in-hybrid grade can make more sense when routine charging allows a meaningful portion of daily travel to be completed electrically.
